Tick season started - what to do?

Well last week tick season started big time. Jessie had multiple ticks so i got rid of them a couple of times a day. However Mojo and Mijne didn't seem to have any and that's because of four things, we think: - first we give them since they are with us 'brewer's yeast' every day. It's a treat and they love it.
Second, they wear paracord collars with EM (Effective Microorganisms) beads that keep the ticks away. Third, we gave them Adventix ones and four, they get hartwom prevention pills. We think the yeast and EM beads really do the trick, because our previous dog had ticks only a couple of times and we gave him yeast also.
M and wear EM bracelets and that seem to help also.
Anyway, because Jessie has just started with the yeast and didn't have a EM collar yet, I gave her Adventix. And she is on heartworm prevention for the first time. I also looked to buy an EM paracord collar but couldn't find anything here in the States. So I ended up buying the EM beads at a agricultural company here in the States and the paracord I bought at Amazon. And now Jessie wears a EM collar and since then (and since Adventix) she is tick free. I hope it will work for her as good as it works for the boys.

In the meanwhile i bought some more paracord and i am going to also make collars for the two dogs of my friend Patty.
