Every litter at Of Sunnyside FWF begins with a story. After our A and B litters, this newest chapter naturally called for a “C”—and with it came a theme that felt just right: Colorful.

Why “Colorful”?

Because color is more than pigment—it is feeling. We can use a little color in our lives.
These five White Swiss Shepherd puppies may have arrived wrapped in snow-white coats, but their spirits are anything but plain. They radiate emotion in every shade: bold blues of confidence, peaceful greens of harmony, soft grays of thoughtfulness, warm pinks of affection, and mysterious blacks of depth and instinct. Each pup reveals their own inner spectrum of devotion, reminding us that color truly lives within.

Their pedigree names reflect this inner spectrum—celebrating emotion, character, and the bright future waiting ahead.

🎨 Meet the Pedigree Names of the Colorful Litter

Each puppy carries a name that honors the litter theme, the noble traits of the White Swiss Shepherd, and our kennel’s identity. Their full official names will proudly include “Of Sunnyside FWF.”

💙 Classic Royal Blue — Of Sunnyside FWF

A name for a boy with a timeless soul. “Classic” speaks to the breed’s elegance, of a dog with a temperament that feels steady, dependable, and naturally dignified. While “Royal Blue” reflects calm intelligence, loyal devotion, and a noble heart. A dog who carries himself with quiet authority and confidence. The name also refers to The Netherlands, my home country but also of both parents Mojo's & Evie's, to our Kingdom, the Royals. The blue also refers to Delft blue also of Dutch origin.

☁️ Cruzin’ Cloud Nine — Of Sunnyside FWF

“Cruzin'” evokes the feeling of wind in your fur, an open horizon, and the contentment of simply being — a perfect energy for a happy, adventurous White Swiss Shepherd. “Cloud” mirrors the dog’s pure white coat and tranquil spirit, while also hinting at dreamlike beauty — a companion who brings calm wherever he goes. 

Lighthearted and dreamy, this boy’s name drifts effortlessly into happiness. “Cloud Nine” captures joy, optimism, and that easygoing sweetness so many White Shepherds carry. 

🍀 Comebye Lucky Clover — Of Sunnyside FWF

A name full of charm and heart. “Comebye” honors movement and instinct, it blends working-dog heritage with nature symbolism and warm, positive energy. “Clover” paints the image of a peaceful, nature-connected soul with a gentle, lucky charm energy. The name represents a dog who moves with natural grace and intelligence (Comebye), and brings luck, joy, and harmony (Lucky Clover) wherever he goes.*

In Dutch, “Clover” also translates to “Klaver.” Given that Evie’s lineage traces back to Daniella Joosten, the esteemed breeder of Van de Witte Klaver, it is fitting that one of her puppies bears a partial tribute to her kennel. Especially because Daniella has been a lifesaver with her help and breeding advice during Evie's first time becoming a mama.

🤎 Café Latte J’Taime — Of Sunnyside FWF

I love my coffee with hot steamed milk, a latte is never harsh; it’s comforting — much like the WSS, known for being friendly, calm, balanced, and affectionate. J'Taime gives the name a graceful, European tone consistent with the WSS’s beauty and sensitivity.

This boy’s name blends sweetness with sophistication. “J’Taime”—I love you—captures the bond White Swiss Shepherds create so effortlessly.

🍒 Cherie Mighty Imogene — Of Sunnyside FWF (Female)

Our colorful girl carries a name as rich as her spirit. “Cherie” associated with the color pink-redish brings tenderness, is the heart of the name — soft, elegant, and full of devotion. It paints the emotional color of the bond: a beloved companion whose sweetness brightens daily life.

 “Mighty” shows that beneath her graceful presence lies a lionheart — steady, brave, and unwavering in loyalty and “Imogene” is short for Idgie, this girls calling name. A perfect blend for a future queen of hearts.
