It was time for little Sien to receive her first vaccine, DHPP (without Lepto). So, yesterday, at seven weeks old, Sien and I visited our favorite vet. However, we had to wait longer than usual, so Sien fell asleep when I turned on her “relaxing” music. It was quite amusing! Regardless, she received her vet check and emerged as a healthy pup. She did exceptionally well.
Before our visit to the vet, I had to acclimate Sien to the car. This involved her being in the car, in the car while the engine was running, and finally, in the car while I was driving. Since the vet appointment was earlier than I had anticipated, I had to give her a crash course. Fortunately, she handled it well. With the help of the treats I had with me, she acted as if she had been in a car frequently instead of only three times.Can't be happier with this champion!
