Extreme heat (dog) safety

​With temperatures around the 100 we have put some extra safety measures into place:
play and training sessions only early in the morning when it is the coolest part of the dayshort potty breaks during the day and as far as possible only in the shadealways enough water available. airco and/or ceiling fans are on 24/7they get ice cubs multiple times a day.I don't have a cooling mat, but I have put damp towels on the floor. no car rides, and never leave the dog behind in the car!!!!no trips to the vet, store if I can avoid it. The asphalt in the parking lot gets extreme hot and can burn your dogs paws in seconds.
